Bumper stickers are way too small! I painted the van before our move to Vancouver in August, 2004, so Erin and I could broadcast our politics along the highway. In five days of driving through South Dakota, Wyoming, Montana, Idaho, and Washington before crossing into British Columbia, we got 6 thumbs up, 1 clear thumbs down, and lots of looks.
Remember: "Anybody but Bush" is not a political philosophy; it is an expression of despair and powerlessness. It also ignores the fact that on war (Kerry says he would have invaded Iraq even if we had known there were no WMDs), on the Patriot Act (Kerry won't repeal this invasion of our civil liberties any sooner than Bush), on education (Kerry supports Bush's No Child Left Behind Act), and health care (not a word from Kerry on single-payer health care, the solution that I and 62% of Americans want and every other industrialized nation has), Kerry and Bush offer no difference! Nader is on the South Dakota ballot, and I will proudly mark him as my choice for President. If your state doesn't have Nader on the ballot, then vote Green, vote for anyone who will take stands that distinguish themselves from the plutocratic Republican/Democratic machine.
