Lake Herman Sanitary District

The Lake Herman Sanitary District as two openings for residents who would like to serve on the board. Cory Heidelberger's three-year term ends this summer. A second seat on the board remains vacant, for a term that runs through July 2011.

To serve on the Lake Herman Sanitary District board, you must be a resident registered to vote within the district. Candidates may circulate petitions from May 27 to June 16, 2010. Pick up your petition from Heidelberger (1883 Cottonwood Cove Trail, Lake Herman) or from District counsel Jerome Lammers at his downtown office in Madison. Candidates must obtain the signatures of at least seven voters registered within the district. Petitions must be submitted to Cory Heidelberger by 5 p.m. June 16, 2010.

If more than one candidate files a petition, an election will be held on Tuesday, July 6, 2010.
